Plateworks UK was established in 2024 on the Cornish Coast aiming to provide high-quality, competitively priced number plates to car enthusiasts, luxury car owners, trade customers along with car owners who are just looking to add some sparkle to their vehicle.

Can i collect my order?

Yes!, of course you can collect your order from us, if you are local to us in Cornwall we are available for collections, we will email you once your order is ready for collection and arrange a time that best suits you.

Do the names on the ID/Proof of address and entitlement need to match?

The law permits the purchase of number plates as a gift, so the names do not need to match on both documents, you can use your own ID and entitlement documentation of a friend or family member.

Are 3D, 4D & GHOST Plates Legal?

Yes!, 100% Legal and fully DVLA compliant, Shortened number plates are also 100% Legal and comply with UK MOT standards. You’ll be sure not to fail on your plates.

Can i cancel my order?

Yes you have the right to cancel your order from the moment you place it, until the either the manufacturing process begins or 90 days have lapsed. However a £6 cancellation fee per plate will be deducted from your refund.

Can i order show plates from Plateworks UK?

Plateworks UK will not produce any number plate that isn’t 100% Legal and Complies fully with DVLA regulations.
